About Us

Lagoon Lodge is a family owned business built in 1998 by the late Semi Vete, completed and opened in 2000. Through the lodge's 15 self-catering apartments, Semi’s children endeavour to live his dream of providing tourists with comfortable accommodation and Tongan hospitality. In 2001, Lagoon Lodge was awarded recognition in support of the visiting journalist programme. Today the lodge is hosted by Lesieli Vete, who has many years of experience in the airline and hotel industry.
